RFID Solutions

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification. It refers to small electronic devices made up of a chip and an antenna, designed to store and transmit data. Typically, the chip can hold up to 2,000 bytes of data or less.

The purpose of an RFID device is similar to that of a barcode or the magnetic strip on the back of credit cards or ATM cards. It provides a unique identifier for an object, enabling quick identification and tracking. Just as a barcode or magnetic strip requires scanning to retrieve the information, RFID operates through radio waves to communicate data when scanned by an RFID reader.

RFID technology is widely used for various applications, such as in inventory management, access control, and asset tracking. It offers a contactless way to identify objects, which can significantly improve efficiency and accuracy compared to traditional barcode-based systems.
