What is the price of RFID tags in India?
UHF RFID labels and inlays start from a few rupees each in volume; on-metal, laundry, high-temperature and jewellery tags cost more. The price depends on chip (NXP UCODE, Impinj Monza / M800), size, face material and quantity. Indian RFID manufactures RFID labels in-house in Delhi, so you get factory pricing - share your application and quantity for a quote within 24 hours.
What is the difference between RFID and barcode?
A barcode must be seen and scanned one at a time. RFID tags are read by radio, without line of sight, and a UHF reader can read hundreds of tags per second from several metres. That is why RFID is used for warehouse inventory, retail stock counts, asset tracking and gate automation, while barcodes remain the low-cost choice for point of sale.
Which RFID frequency should I choose - LF, HF/NFC or UHF?
UHF (865-867 MHz in India) gives long read range and bulk reading for inventory, logistics, retail and vehicles. HF / NFC (13.56 MHz) suits access cards, libraries, tickets and smartphone tapping. LF (125 kHz) is used for animal tagging and simple access control. Our engineers recommend the right frequency after a free consultation.
What does an RFID system for a warehouse include?
RFID tags or labels on items, cartons or pallets; fixed readers and antennas at dock doors or a tunnel; handheld readers such as Seuic or Zebra for cycle counts; RFID printers to encode labels; and software or middleware linked to your ERP / WMS. Indian RFID supplies and integrates the complete system, with warehouse consulting from USD 4,000.
Do you supply RFID readers, printers and handhelds?
Yes - fixed and handheld UHF RFID readers, RFID antennas, Seuic and Datalogic mobile computers, Zebra, TSC, Printronix and Honeywell RFID printers, RFID gates, plus barcode printers, scanners and labels, with installation and service across India.
